Maddie Boerste

LPC-MHSP(t), EMDR, SYMBIS

If you’re feeling weighed down by past experiences—whether from significant events or the quiet pain of unmet emotional needs—know that healing is possible. Together, we’ll create a safe space where you can explore what’s been holding you back and begin releasing what no longer serves you. Trauma doesn’t have to be dramatic to leave lasting effects. Emotional neglect, difficult relationships, or unmet needs can leave deep marks. I’m here to help you untangle these patterns and build the tools to reconnect with yourself and others in healthier, more fulfilling ways.

Your identity is always evolving, and I’m here to help you uncover your true, authentic self. Through the Healing Our Core Issues model and EMDR, we’ll work together to address what’s holding you back. As you heal, you’ll gain clarity, confidence, and a deeper sense of peace, empowering you to create the life you truly want.

My educational background includes both a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education as well as Psychology from Belmont University. Through my experience as a teacher in a Title I setting, I discovered a passion for working with trauma, which I continue to grow through my current work. I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and have been working at Be Found since then.

My relationship with God is the core of my life and spirituality is a key piece that I integrate into the therapeutic process for those who choose. However, if that is not a part of your journey, my door is wide open with full permission to share your unique story. I consider it a privilege to enter into every therapeutic relationship with an open mind and flexibility. You are the author of your story and I consider it an honor to partner with you.

You don’t have to navigate this journey alone. If you’re ready to start healing, I’m here to walk with you. Let’s take that first step together!
