As a therapist, I am passionate about helping clients find hope and healing on their journeys. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Theology and Ministry from Lipscomb University and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Trevecca Nazarene University. Prior to working as a therapist, I have worked as a minister with children and students. With years of experience in ministry, I bring a compassionate and empathetic approach to my practice, valuing the importance of understanding each client's unique story.
I understand that starting therapy can be challenging, which is why I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment. I utilize techniques from narrative therapy, parts work, self-compassion, and experiential therapy to support individuals and couples through a variety of issues. I am also a Prepare-Enrich certified facilitator, and I enjoy providing premarital counseling. I work with a variety of client concerns, including but not limited to identity exploration, anxiety, relationship challenges, and navigating life transitions.
I am particularly attuned to clients grappling with faith-related issues, whether that involves those actively engaged in ministry or those exploring their beliefs. My goal is to hold space for your unique faith journey, whatever that may look like. I want all clients to feel comfortable coming to me, regardless of their faith background or beliefs.
Outside of my practice, I love spending time with my family, eating Mexican food, watching reality TV, and improving my sourdough bread-making skills.
Let’s work together to cultivate hope and healing in your life!
