Well, come! Whether you’re seeking healing, discovering your true voice, needing to be companioned in your grief, or desiring clarity in this season, I am handing you an imaginary permission slip to honor what brings you here. You are brave for taking this step. Permission to come weary, sad, confused, or however you honestly are. I am honored to wave my Hope flag with you while we come to understand what brought you to this place and empower you as you move forward. Listening is healing and your story is worth being heard.

Much of my journey that led me to becoming a therapist I credit to a mid-life awakening that began with grief and slowly unraveled much of what I’d spent years trying to achieve through over-functioning and striving – in relationships, creative ventures, and my identity. God, in His gentleness, was inviting me to receive, to slow down, to find my worth in being rather than doing. After decades of looking for a sense of home outside of myself, I’m learning what it is to come home to my authentic, God-embodied self and it’s been abundant with hard, healing, and everything in-between.

In addition to being a Marriage & Family Therapist student and intern, I am the founder of Pasture Experience, where I offer Christian spiritual direction, holistic retreats, and write poetry. I am passionate about integrating our spiritual, mental/emotional, and physical life so that they are one and the same.

My heartbeat is to walk with individuals who are experiencing relational issues, faith fractures/church trauma, and/or grief from a compassionate and creative perspective.

I’m completing my Masters in Marriage & Family Therapy from Trevecca Nazarene University here in Nashville, am Level 1 trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), am a Grief Recovery Method Specialist, certified Spiritual Director, and author. Mostly, I am an in-process human, and I want nothing more than to offer you grace and space on your beautiful journey.

I grew up in Southern CA and moved up and down the coast before moving to TN 6 years ago for the green hills, barns, and room to breathe. I’ve been married 19 years, have two teenage boys, 2 dogs and a porch cat. Our family’s dream is to have a retreat property in the country complete with a poetry barn, little cottages, and a donkey rescue farm! I love honest conversations on the porch, adventuring new towns, offering hospitality to strangers, writing, foraging for beauty, hiking, and antiquing/thrifting.  A perfect day would include brunch, a long walk, wildflower picking, reading a Henri Nouwen book and sitting around a bonfire with family and friends.
